Nestled in the heart of Morpeth you’ll find the most gorgeous cake and coffee shop Made of Crumbs. The cosy interior with fairy lights and sofas is the perfect place to stop for one of their amazing creations while in the town centre. With NYC style stuffed cookies, cupcakes and scones you’re spoilt for choice here as well as coffee specials that will blow your mind!
One of my favourite orders is the creme brûlée coffee with an actual hard sugar crust that you have to break with a spoon – immense!! Im always partial to the gigantic stuffed cookies, the Bueno one is delicious. With low gluten options too and they also serve brunch items daily, the afternoon tea looks amazing too (these need to be pre booked).
The cafe is dog friendy with a small seating area downstairs and a larger seating area including a cosy sofa area upstairs. They also make the most unreal celebration cakes which are on display, and hold classes teaching sugar flowers and cake techniques. There are also cake decorating supplies on sale so you can recreate your own masterpieces at home.
The cafe is open 10 -4 Tuesday and Wednesday, 9-4 Friday and Saturday. Find them on Newgate Street in Morpeth town centre.
