The Landing, Beadnell

The Landing at Beadnell is one of my favourite places to stop for a bite to eat or coffee, the rustic cosy atheistic gives tranquil beach vibes along with unreal delicious food and super friendly staff what’s not to love? It’s been one of my favourite stops for a long time now, with a cosy log burner to warm up from those coastal walks and a peaceful feel and delicious food.

(This was a gifted meal for disclosure)

My favourite menu items are the speciality crab fries topped with sriracha, just outstanding, and monkfish scampi. As you can imagine being right on the coast there are some fantastic seafood options here but also plenty of other options such as their newly launched pizzas, I loved how there was different toppings to the standard pepperoni you see everywhere. I tried the King Prawn pizza and it was just delicious, the pizza menu starters were unreal I highly recommend the mozzarella bites I could have eaten a whole plate of those on their own.

I was recently invited to try their evening menu and was absolutely blown away by the meals I tried. On an evening the whole restaurant takes on a warm cosy glow from the rustic lighting and candles and the log burner going its a relaxed vibe I love. I could have sat there all night taking in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoying the amazing food on offer. The menu and quality are not out of place in a five-star restaurant I highly recommend a visit yourself.

They’ve recently added a tipi area to their outdoor seating meaning you can shelter from the cold weather and enjoy all of the food and drink on offer here under twinkly fairy lights and heaters.

Situated just 100m from the beach entrance it is a perfect stop after those Northumberland coastal walks, and dog friendly so your four-legged friend can join in with the family.

Serving delicious breakfasts of full English and French toast among the menu choices, right through to lunch and evening meals there are delicious options for everyone. Its always one of my favourite coffee stops too just to people watch in the cosy surroundings and take a break.

There are often event evenings at The Landing so its worth checking out their social media sites for updates such as Cheese and Wine nights.
